I was there last night, and was one of those kids who said maybe and kinda to when you asked, can you hang out with god? or can you praise god even when something bad happens? I think i will always stuggle with the fact that god isnt here in a physical presents. But i do agree with this devo to where you always need faith and that god will always be there no matter what!

Rachel,

The point of today's devo is simply that we need faith. Do you remember last night when we were talking about how difficult it can be to praise God when something bad happens? It can feel like God isn't even there. But true faith in Christ means having faith even if we don't see Him working in our lives. The centurion believed that Jesus could heal his servant without even being there; that's the kind of faith that God asks of us. Does that make more sense?

I really don't understand what this devo is saying.

To me i think it is to believe and HIM and trust him and all that stuff, but this one just doesn't really make sense to me.
